Spa FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to get a massage while I am pregnant?

We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider prior to scheduling your appointment. We do not recommend massage during the first trimester.

Is it safe to get a massage while having a cold, the flu or skin rash?

No. A massage will often increase the health risk and discomfort brought about by these ailments.

May I request a male or female therapist?

Yes. Although we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular therapist, we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes. All of our therapists are trained to respect and protect your privacy at all times.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my appointment?

Peak hours are often evening hours and weekends. It is recommended to book early in advance in order for us to accommodate your preferred appointment request.

How should I dress for my massage treatment?

Many clients prefer to remove all clothing. A sheet will be used to securely drape the body and the therapist will only expose the part of the body that is currently being worked on. However, your comfort is paramount; if you wish to wear underwear or dress down to your comfort zone,  it’s okay!
